Wheat Fields Under Threatening Skies - By Van Gogh

The stalks moved as one, their golden heads nodding and swaying in the gentle breeze. Their rhythm was hypnotic, entrancing. They called to me, as did the path which cleft the scene in two, beckoning with their sensual motion and soft rustle. The night was eerily still as I stumbled forward, startling a dark mob of winged creatures who rose from the yellow sea and into the looming black night.
